King Of Las Vegas Matt Goss will perform at London's Dorchester hotel
The King Of Las Vegas Matt Goss will perform at London's Dorchester hotel on Monday night with all funds going towards Amy Watts life saving operation.
The Caesars Palace headliner Matt Goss will perform a special one-off concert to raise urgently needed funds to pay for life saving surgery for journalist Amy Watts's.
Generous Matt and his band will play for free, with every penny from a suggested £50 per ticket going to the £100,000 needed for the operation.
True to Matt's swagger and style, the gig is being held at one of London’s finest 5 star hotels, the iconic Dorchester. Entry will be first come, first served on the door of the ballroom on London's Park Lane. Matt and his band aren’t the only people to give their time for free and help Amy, as The Dorchester has also generously waived the hire fee for the evening.
Matt and his band will be on stage from 7pm but tickets will be on sale from 4pm at the Ballroom entrance.
There is a suggested minimum charity donation of £50 in cash.
Matt, 46, said: "I recently lost my mother to cancer, and it was a life changing moment for me, if I had known three months earlier I could have saved her life.
"Many of you have worked and interviewed me over the years and I have never asked anything of you, but now I'm asking that you turn up to The Dorchester on Monday, with cash in your wallet and donate so that Amy can look into her horizon and see a bright future.
"We are all very busy but not busy enough not to show solidarity and help this wonderful young lady. Every journalist, every photographer, every friend in the media and every friend of mine and Amy's, please come and show your support. #Amyscalltoaction."
In August Amy discovered she was suffering from colon cancer that had spread to her liver. Doctors told her it was already stage four and she immediately began chemotherapy in Los Angeles where she was living.
However, American doctors cancelled an operation due to take place in December but Amy found a doctor at a private hospital in Leeds who is prepared to perform surgery on her - at a cost of £70,000. Friends and family of Amy’s are rallying around her to raise money for her care with the #holdamyshand campaign.

Celebrity Review - Matt Goss at Café de Paris London 26th June 2013
Now it’s not every day we get the VegasBaby show of the year in the UK. So you can imagine how excited we were to be party to this intimate gathering of media and fans at the iconic Café de Paris in London’s Leicester Square to witness the showcase of Matt Goss’s new, highly anticipated album Life you Imagine but did he live up to the hype?
As with all of Matt’s shows in Vegas, everyone attending had made a real effort to dress up, ladies in their best frocks and the guys wearing their whistles (suits to you posh people!) This added to the already opulent atmosphere that Matt’s team had clearly worked very hard to produce, even down to the embroidered “MG” on the napkins. Now it’s important for us to point out that this is a showcase and the idea of any showcase is to “pitch” to the media folk that were digging into the fabulous canapés and champagne but we wanted to get the feel of what the real fans thought of the show, so we kept Steve the Boss away from the food (which meant the press got to eat!!) and headed downstairs to watch the show with his fans and to get a true reflection of what the paying public thought.
The four of us pitched up against the bar, vodka in hand and waited in anticipation for Mr Goss. We have attended many of Matt’s shows in Vegas but we experienced a new buzz that we hadn’t seen before at his Rat Pack style gigs in Caesars Palace.
The music started, provided by his band and then Matt entered the stage gliding down the fantastic staircase, looking as dapper as ever in his sharp suit and hat, simply oozing confidence and sex appeal. He opened with what I’m sure will be a Las Vegas Anthem for years to come, singing the words “Fallen for Las Vegas”, a song that is obviously close to our heart at VegasBaby Towers!! It was slick, smooth and dare we say it even old blue eyes would have raised a glass to that opening! His second song of the evening was “Mustang”, a song that Matt dedicated to true love and a song that is clearly written from the heart. Very Jazzy, very romantic and it was great to witness the ladies around us hanging on to every word he sang. Next was Evil – One of our favourites, full of energy and power and was great to just stand back and watch how Matt had this crowd eating out of his hand as they sang along to this track. For the next song “I Do”, Matt said he had written it especially for people to propose to, one for the fellas!! It was a great song and I have no doubts there were a few fellas, thinking I could use this when I pop the question!!
Now we said we wanted to get the vibe of the paying public and believe me the 350 or so lucky few were rocking and their energy was clearly picked up by Matt who is already a great showman but this energy gave Matt an even stronger presence, he was loving it and had the smile to prove it. Saying Matt had a stronger presence on stage was quite apt, as his next track was titled Strong. Now let me make this as simple as I can. Very occasionally you hear a song for the first time and think wow that is something else. This was one of those moments, in fact no, it was a “That’s a tune and a half” moment!! Joined on stage by a fantastic gospel choir, the energy in the room went to another level and as Matt had said the song was written about his ups and downs of life and the strength you need to keep going, this song is seriously a strong contender of being a hit on both sides of the pond!!
Next up, Matt’s reworked version of “When Will I Be Famous”. This is top drawer and although we have heard Matt play this in Vegas, it was great to watch how not only Matt’s fans but also the media suits rocking and singing along to this former Bros hit. If you read this Matt, release this now, while the sun is shining in London Village as this version needs to be heard on our radios!!
Matt closed with one of his Vegas shows classics, “Hotel California”. Once again Matt interacted with the audience saying “why not finish with an obscure song? If there’s one person in this room that knows this song, feel free to take a piece of clothing off”!! Now you may think, I’ve heard that song covered many times, by many people but let me tell you that the arrangement on this song is special, it shouldn’t work but work it does and if this version of the song doesn’t get you dancing, you need to see a doctor!!
The fans and, more eye-opening, the media were screaming for an encore, but Matt left the stage as cool as he entered and left us thinking we were very lucky to be part of what was a very special night but was that just us? Don’t be silly, the whole place loved him, yes he has a great set of fans who have followed him for years but we spoke to people that weren’t even born when Bros was around and said they couldn’t believe how fantastic Matt was. However for us, I think we will leave the last word to the barman who said to us that he had worked at many places in London and seen many acts close up but none had impressed him more than Matt Goss and he was a twenty something male!!
Finally, a note to Caesars Palace Las Vegas: Give this man a run in The Colosseum and believe us when we say we will bring 'em to see him!!
You can catch Matt Goss at Caesars Palace every Friday and Saturday until mid September.
Dynamo explodes in VegasBaby
The most talked about magician of a generation, Dynamo was in Vegas taking a well-deserved holiday this week. During his brief visit Dynamo took in The Penn & Teller show, going back stage to meet the legendary performers and tweeted "The Legends @PennJillette & @MrTeller just fooled me! Amazing". After the show Dynamo headed over to The Luxor, where he danced the night away at LAX. The following night the magician tweeted "Going to watch the Legend that is @D_Copperfield show later! The perfect end to my trip to Las Vegas!" After watching and meeting David Copperfield, Dynamo was paid the biggest compliment when Copperfield tweeted "Hanging out backstage with UK's finest, @Dynamomagician. Would love to see your new show next time I'm in the UK." He went on to tweet "Nice to see @Dynamomagician on this side of the pond. Do yourself a favor, and check out his Youtube Channel "
After the show Dynamo headed out with VegasBaby.co.uk CEO, Steve Littlechild and their entourage for dinner and gave an improv performance to some British fans at The Surrender Nightclub in The Encore hotel, later posing for photos with his adoring fans.
I wonder how long it will be before Dynamo returns to Vegas, not as a holidaymaker but as one of the City’s headliner acts?
Towie's Chloe Sims gets up close and personal with Las Vegas Headliner Matt Goss
Chloe Sims may be a long way from her beloved Essex but she wasn't missing home, as she spent the evening with former Bros frontman Matt Goss in Las Vegas last night.
The Towie star was out on the town with VegasBaby CEO Steve Littlechild and The Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin. Dressed in a stunning low cut gold dress, the Only Way Is Essex star enjoyed watching Matt Goss perform his sell out show at Caesars Palace and later made all the girls in the Gossy room very Jel!!, as she was seen drinking vodka, laughing and dancing with Matt Goss in the VIP area, after his show.
Earlier in the day Chloe was enjoying the Las Vegas sunshine with her friend Steve Littlechild at The Encore Beach Club and clearly the Essex girl showed no signs of flagging, as she continued to party into the early hours of Saturday morning. Chloe seemed to hit it off with fellow Brit Matt Goss, who we believe invited Chloe to his UK gig in October at The Royal Albert Hall and after several hours the group all left together.
@vegasbabyUK later tweeted that they had all gone to The Chateau nightclub, where they continued to party until 5am. Although Chloe has tweeted that she is on holiday, the fact that she has been seen out on the town with The Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin will make people wonder if this is another Towie star who is about to follow Amy Childs and quit the BAFTA award winning show?
One thing is for sure though, this Essex girl may be a long way from the Loughton but she certainly knows how to show the Vegas crowd how to party TOWIE style!
The Only Way is VegasBaby for Towie's Chloe Sims!!
Towie's Chloe Sims was again mixing with the good and the great of Las Vegas this week, as she strutted her stuff at the sexy, new PussyCat Dolls Salon at The Planet Hollywood Resort.
Once again, Chloe looked stunning in a backless pink dress and matching pink earrings and was accompanied by her friend Steve Littlechild of www.VegasBaby.co.uk to the VIP area of The PussyCat Dolls Salon at the classy Planet Hollywood resort. The two were joined by their host and founder of The PussyCat Dolls, Robin Antin, together with West End singing sensation Samantha Barks, who wore a sexy black catsuit. After enjoying the show at Robin Antins new club, Chloe tweeted "@vegasbabyuk aww I loved the pussy cat dolls saloon!! Such a good night!! @robinantinpcd xx". The group then moved onto the Gallery nightclub, where they were later joined by Caesars Palace headliner, Matt Goss, who looked totally reem in his 3 piece suit. After several bottles of Grey Goose vodka, Chloe and her friends then moved onto the new Club Nikki at the Tropicana Hotel, where they continued to dance until 5am!! No matter what the opinions of Ms Sims are in the UK, she clearly made a lasting impression in VegasBaby!!
