Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Reservations: 702 693 5000
A big hit with models and celebrities, plus trendy young things. A truly trendy hangout and an instant hit when it opened at the end of the 1990s, it has remained a mecca for celebs and the beautiful people despite new competition in the guise of The Palms. It's all set for a $750 million expansion project that will include another 950 guest rooms, more casino space, more food outlets, a larger pool, new shops and spa. A new rock lounge, Wasted Space, has already opened and exalts the decadent rock 'n' roll lifestyle, also known as 'anti-club'. Signature drinks include Hart Attack (after co-owner and action sports star Carey Hart) and Sunday bloody Sunday. A new Paradise Tower is an 18-floor tower with 490 guest rooms designed with the Hard Rock's signature party attitude in mind but with a jolt of luxury and sophistication. There's a mega penthouse and 10 pool suites, 2 of which have their own cabana or pool deck and glass balconies. Existing restaurants are some of the best in town and in 2005 three of them won a total of 4 Epicurean Awards, including Best Japanese Restaurant for Nobu, Best New Restaurant off the Strip for Simon Kitchen & Bar, and Best Mexican Restaurant for Pink Taco. Definitely not for the faint-hearted, there is a strong adult vibe at this resort. In addition to the very raunchy nightlife scene, the Beach Club (open to hotel guests only] has become a haven for 'some of the most beautiful bodies in Las Vegas'. With palmshaded sandy beaches and blue water lagoons, the grass-shack cabanas (with phone, fridge and misting system!) are highly sought after. Every Sunday is a hardpartying, adults-only pool party which has become a Las Vegas tradition. After a hard day by the pool, if you need a little more R&R, try the Rock Spa to prepare you for a night of partying. You can even get your gaming and pool lounging at the same time, with Hard Rock Cafe's Poolside Blackjack.
